Involvement in missions takes more than just sending money - it takes prayer, time, discipleship, and support.  Mostly, it takes a heart for God and a humility that reminds us that everything we do is done for Him.  The glory belongs to God alone!  Many churches count success by the number of attendees, and that's fine.  That's not our focus though.  We count success by the spiritual growth and well-being of the people entrusted to our care.  While we're happy God is growing His church within Chappell Hill Bible Fellowship, we're also content to let Him do that at His pace.

Let us share with you to some of the missions we support and have supported at Chappell Hill Bible Fellowship, and how we fulfill the Great Commission within our church.

Ukraine Missions Support

For several years, Chappell Hill Bible Fellowship has supported a boots-on-the-ground mission in Ukraine with a focus on helping residents of this war-torn country.

Risking life and limb (and experiencing some very close calls), the missionary we supported helped rescue adults and children, passed out supplies and blankets, transported evacuees through war zones, helped elevate the morale of the troops and civilians, preached the gospel in several countries, raised money here and abroad to support the relief efforts, and performed many other tasks of service to further benefit the situation in Ukraine.

Let's keep praying for Ukraine.

Colombia Missionary

Chappell Hill Bible Fellowship has also supported a missionary in Colombia during the time of her 9-year service in that country.

God had called this selfless, Christ-loving woman to go and serve His people and to reach the lost.  Countless times God allowed her to be His hands and feet - To feed the hungry, love the unlovable, visit the prisoner, and give water to the thirsty. He taught her over and over of His mercy and compassion - and she shared that mercy and compassions with others through both individual and group evangelism and discipleship.

We look forward to a new chapter in the life of this woman-of-God as we watch to see where God will send her next!
